This blog give a quick overview of what to consider when adopting a shelter dog.<\/p>\n<h2>Things to Consider when Adopting<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><b>Finding the right match.<\/b> Adopting a pet isn\u2019t like buying a new wallet, you need to know what your needs are and the needs of your potential new dog.&nbsp; Are you active, or too busy to exercise?&nbsp; Do you have allergies?&nbsp; Do you live in an apartment?&nbsp; These are just some of the questions you need to ask yourself to determine which breed of dog will be your best match.&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dogbreedinfo.com\/\">Dogbreedinfo.com<\/a> has a couple of quizzes to help you figure out your dog match: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dogbreedinfo.com\/searchcategories.htm\">http:\/\/www.dogbreedinfo.com\/searchcategories.htm<\/a><\/li>\n<li><b>Time consideration.<\/b> Remember that owning a pet can take up a lot of time.&nbsp; If you live on your own and have a very busy life make sure you choose a dog that doesn\u2019t need constant attention.
